As part of LEAD/AWCCI effort to work for access to finance for women businesses we visited the first female branch of the First Micro Finance Bank. Good discussions took place and more on this will be posted.
Ms. Manizha Wafeq Chair of LEAD/AWCCI was at Bamdad Khush Tolo TV introduced the activities and benefits of having a separate chamber for women businesses in Afghanistan.
We from AWCCI/LEAD met with H. E. Deputy Minister of Policy at the Ministry of Finance. We urged for their attention to Women's Economic Empowerment National Action Plan and collaboration with Afghan Businesswomen in its implementation. H. E. Deputy Minister Naheed Sarabi expressed her support and welcomed all the suggestions. Thanks to Her!
