Aziza Momand is an Afghan entrepreneur, social and economic activist, and mentor with more than four decades of experience in education, women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship, and humanitarian activities. She holds a Master’s degree in Russian Language and Literature and Social Sciences from the University of Education and Foreign Languages in Kyiv, Ukraine (1983). She began her first professional career at the University of Education, formerly known as the Kabul Pedagogical Institute, and later continued her work in teaching, mentoring, and guiding young people in their professional development.
She has extensive experience in leading organizations and businesses and is the founder and director of several important institutions, including the Businesswomen Caravan, the Afghan Women’s Handicrafts Foundation, the Toob and Bab-e-Miska Leather Production Company, as well as a charitable organization called the Miska Humanitarian Aid Organization. Aziza has also served as a member of several boards, including the Women’s High Business Council, the Businesswomen’s Union, the Board of the Afghanistan Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AWCCI), and the Afghan Women Business Federation (AWBF). She has played an effective role in promoting the position of women in Afghanistan’s economy and trade.

Shakereh Shams holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Dari Language and Literature. She is the President of Shams Sanai Women Company and a board member of the Afghan Women Chamber of Commerce & Industries.
She has extensive experience in handicrafts, vocational training, and women’s empowerment, including teaching sewing skills to over 1,000 girls, running a private school for girls, and establishing a sewing workshop that provides employment opportunities.
Shakereh has received multiple awards and certificates from national and international organizations for her contributions to women’s economic empowerment. She is committed to promoting education, professional skills, and entrepreneurship for Afghan women, aiming to build an independent and entrepreneurial community of women in Afghanistan.
