Mr. Jalaluddin Saeed
Born on April 2, 1978, to a farming family in Koobi village of Kandahar province, Mr. Jalaluddin Saeed is the Founder and CEO of AID (Associates In Development) Group, under which a number of companies including Kanda Fruit, Kanda Agro Services, Kanda Carpet, Jalal Kabab House and Mahindra & Mahindra Tractors operate. AID Group is an umbral organization for a number of firms that work in various fields including road constructions, fruits and vegetable processing, farming, food catering, and carpet production. Mr. Saeed holds two bachelor’s degrees, one in Medical Science and another in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Industrial Development.
In addition to leading his own businesses, Mr. Saeed is a member of the Higher Economic Council of Afghanistan and serves as the Executive Committee Member of SAARC –ACCI. He is the Founding Member of Afghanistan Exporters’ Club and Afghan-German Business Council.
In 2016, with the aim to help modernize the agriculture sector, Mr. Saeed introduced Mahindra & Mahindra tractors and Field King Agricultural equipment to Afghanistan, the India-based manufacturers that produce the best quality tractors and other agriculture equipment in the world.
Mr. Saeed is a member of AWCCI’s Advisory Board.
