The objective of this program is to enhance the know-how of Kabul and provincial board members and managers of AWCCI about membership based organization, their sustainability and especially of AWCCI so they could work independently but in coordination with Kabul office, Strategic planning, team building and review of 2020 activities and preparing plan of 2021. This workshop was held for 3 days from 29 December 2020 to 31 December 2020, from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
The first day is dedicated for introduction and opening speeches by AWCCI and CIPE. Getting familiar with AWCCI’s history, staff, Kabul Board and work in Kabul. Strategic planning by CIPE. Team building and lunch at the Strikers by Ms. Meena Rahimi. Review of 2020 work by Kabul and provincial offices. AWCCI new projects for 2021 by Ms. Manizha Wafeq CEO of AWCCI.
Day two was dedicated for networking and team building. Planning and a visit of Ministry of Industry and Commerce. Appreciation of Ministry of Industry and Commerce from AWCCI’s board of directory. Appreciation of ministry of industry and commerce from board directors of AWCCI.
AWCCI’s board of directors has got Appreciation certificate on unstoppable services for Afghan businesswomen in Kabul and Zones that includes Herat, Kandahar, Balkh and Nangarhar.
The context of appreciation certificate was written this way “directory of ministry of commerce and industry is thankful for unstoppable and unsparing struggles of AWCCI due to Afghan businesswomen’s empowerment and best services in Afghanistan’s economic.
Mr. Mohammad Mustafa Majidyar Director General of Administration and Finance of the ministry of industry and commerce handed certificates of appreciation to the leadership of AWCCI.
AWCCI received the promise of MoIC on making permanent bazaars for selling the products of Afghan businesswomen and in near future the creation of a Fund to provide financial support with the aim to improve women’s businesses.
Day 3 was dedicated to review of AWCCI’s policies and approval of those policies by the High Council. In this year four policies were reviewed and approved. Administative, IT, HR and Procurement.
